    Provides services to victims of sexual violence (domestic violence, incest, rape, sex trafficking, and sexual assault/abuse) including advocacy, crisis response, support, and trauma therapy. The Community Education Department provides education to professionals and the community. 

    SERVICES:
    1) 24-HOUR HOTLINE: Provides crisis response to survivors of incest, rape, domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse and sex trafficking.

    2) EMERGENCY SHELTER: Provides assistance to callers needing to be removed from the home immediately due to sexual violence (domestic violence, incest, rape, sex trafficking, and sexual assault/abuse).  Turnaround does not have a shelter but can assist with shelter placement.

    3) EMERGENCY ROOM SUPPORT: Provides a trained companion to meet victims at the hospital, who stays with the victim throughout the examination, testing, treatment and questioning by the police and until the victim is placed in a safe environment.

    4) CASE MANAGEMENT FOR VICTIMS OF HUMAN TRAFFICKING; Provides case management services to victims of human trafficking.  Can assist with services such as securing shelter, photo ID, employment, etc. 

    5) COUNSELING: Provides individual therapy for child and adult victims of rape, sexual assault/abuse, incest, domestic violence, sex trafficking, and their families.

    6) SUPPORT GROUPS: Offers support groups for battered women, rape, sexual assault/abuse survivors, incest survivors, victims of sex trafficking, and supporters of survivors. Call Towson office for more information.

    7) COMMUNITY EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Provides educational presentations and workshops on issues surrounding sexual assault/abuse, sex trafficking, domestic violence, stalking, self-defense, parenting, "good touch-bad touch" for children, and professional training, e.g. treatment skills, assessment and diagnosis.

    8) TRANSITIONAL HOUSING: Refers individuals to transitional housing for 3 months to 1 year for victims of sexual violence (domestic violence, incest, rape, sex trafficking, and sexual assault/abuse). Dependent children are also welcome.  Monthly fee is 30% of income, but varies based on the situation. Program temporarily on hold.

    9) VICTIM ADVOCACY: Offers information, support, and crisis intervention to victims of sexual violence. Provides risk assessment and safety planning, as well as follow-up and outreach that connects victims to additional services and community resources. In addition, on-going support and advocacy assists victims in accessing services and in navigating the criminal justice, medical, and mental health systems.  Offers legal services for protective orders, divorce, and child custody.
